Bridle

 Bridle - A type of Point consisting of two Legs/Dead Hangs coming together at an Apex Shackle, with or without a Stinger

Leg - A component of a Bridle Point, consisting of one Basket and a Stinger

***In a Bridle configuration, the Stinger portion of each Leg is no longer called a Stinger***
The portion referred to as the Stinger of a Bridle Point is a single Steel cable located below the Apex Shackle.  The Steel cable located above the Apex Shackle of a Bridle configuration is called the Leg of the Bridle.

A Leg can be comprised of any single-length section of Steel Cable, or multiple sections combined.
5' Leg:
One 5' Steel Cable
10' Leg:
Usually one 10' Steel Cable
15' Leg:
One 5' and one 10' Steel Cable
20' Leg or longer:
Combination of Steel Cables reaching the necessary length
